No Single Use Plastic Awareness Day
Plastics bring lots of convenience in our daily life, however, not many of us have given a thought on the environmental devastation they cause. In Hong Kong, the plastic waste problem is aggravated with the challenges in recycling.
In light of the situation, EcoDrive Hong Kong and New Youth Energy Think Tank are launching together the Enough Plastic Movement. It aims at raising awareness of single-use plastic problem in Hong Kong. The No Single Use Plastic Awareness Day was set up on 30 May, 2019 to motivate the wider community to take part in movement by refusing the use of single-use plastic products and to adapt behavioural changes in their daily lives.
