No Straw Movement

Is it a must to use straw for cold drinks? Maybe not! A semester-long “No Straw Movement” campaign initiated by LAMP students aim to promote green dining in five catering outlets on campus including BU Fiesta, Harmony Student Cafeteria, Main Canteen, i-Cafe and Starbucks Coffee.  During the campaign, drinking straws will only be provided upon customers’ request.  Stay tuned to the “No Straw Day” on 24 March at Main Canteen and 20 April at BU Fiesta and see what is the alternative of disposable plastic straws.
