HKBU Green Info Day

Many leaflets and booklets are non-recyclable as they are made or covered with plastic films. To minimise paper waste during regular university events like Information Day, HKBU Sustainability and LAMP students jointly worked together to promote 3R approach – reduce, reuse and recycle. Not only we encouraged faculties and departments to reduce the amount of printing, we also invited our visitors to recycle the used leaflets at our recycling stations or booths. Green Info Day has become our accustomed practice since 2012 and we saved more than 2500 promotional materials this year!
