Milk Carton Paper Recycling

Milk is an essential ingredient for all types of food and beverages, such as coffee and cream sauce. There are milk cartons galore dumped every day, which are covered with plastic layers that can be a silent killer of the environment and wildlife. With the guidance of a local craftsman, 150 milk cartons collected on HKBU campus were properly handled by our BUGS (BU GreenieS) volunteers for making handmade paper. Recycling and upcycling are always the better options than sending to landfills.
